The 2nd Wuxi Lawyer Forum was held on July 18th 2010 with the theme of Harmonious Society and Lawyers’Responsibilities. Trust, Belief and Lawyers’ Responsibilities co-written by Mr. Jianming Wang and Mr. Zuzhi Luo and Lawyers’ Social Responsibilities and Foundation of Harmonious Society written by Mr. Honghai Wang were elected as theme papers of the forum for discussion. Mr. Zuzhi Luo and Mr. Honghai Wang delivered keynote speeches at the forum.
Of the 140 papers presented at the forum, 30 papers came recommended by the juries as the candidates for Outstanding Paper, 7 of which were presented by Jinyi Law Firm. The above mentioned two theme papers were each honored as Outstanding Paper.
Moreover, 5 other Papers written by Jinyi Lawyers were selected as candidates for Outstanding Paper, the topics of which included introspection on environmental litigation in China, analysis of legal risks in property M&A transaction, and experience drawn from discovery proceedings in US civil actions.
